The AIT program was a perfect experience for anyone who's pas*ionate about languages, culture and technology. I had such a blast exploring the beautiful city of Budapest with all her historical architecture and delicious cuisines, while taking on projects and clas*es I'm truly excited about. But of course, it's the people I met from the program, from my dance clas*es, from my weekend getaway trips, that made this an indelible memory in my college years. AIT-Budapest surpas*ed all my expectations. The staff of AIT are incredibly amazing. I always felt like I could go to them if I had any questions or needed help with anything from advice on places to visit and how to cook a certain Hungarian food to how to make an appointment in Hungary and they always greeted me with warmth. The students also helped to make the programme a great experience. I'm not sure if it was luck or that AIT just does a great job at choosing its participants. The professors were also really helpful and usually willing to stay after clas*es to answer questions. The city of Budapest is beautiful with so much to see and do. I recommend exploring it as much as possible and eat as much Hungarian food as you can. Better yet, try to make some of those foods. In short, Studying abroad in Budapest was unlike anything I’d ever done in life. Living on my own, taking care of myself and taking clas*es that I’ve always wanted to helped me learn so much about myself and about ad*lt life. You get to take clas*es during the week and travel around Europe in the weekends. I am so glad I made the decision to do it and I recommend it to everyone thinking about doing it. AIT-Budapest is the ideal place to study abroad. Living in Central Europe, I had a fantastic opportunity to not only immerse myself in the unique culture but also travel across Europe (at low prices). Furthermore, the staff, professors, and fellow clas*mates are all helpful, excellent, and collaborative creating an inspiring environment to learn. The program offers a mix between fun and travel
