Mental illnesses are invisible, but they affect people like me every day. My goal in writing here is to help people with mental illnesses feel less alone, as well as help people who do not suffer from a mental illness to understand more about them. I have a diagnosed mental illness. What the actual diagnosis happens to be is unimportant – for the major reason that it keeps changing. Though I struggle with a mental illness, I am still a person. I am a Christian. I am not demon-possessed. I am not useless.
