The Illuminati aka a secret society about enlightenment that began long ago in a forest in Europe has possible connections to the Freemasons and other secret societies.  To be honest, I've never been one to think and ponder conspiracy theories.  To be honest, I didn't know much about the history of the Illuminati before this book.  However now.. who knows, maybe I'll drive my husband bonkers with my engaged and wanting to keep turning the pages.  It's a fun book. READ ALOUD:  No.  Non-fiction usually do not make the best read alouds, but they are fun to browse and read here and there.
