our vision is to be an exemplary learning community. we place the highest value on developing the whole child with the skills, knowledge. and dispositions for a lifetime of inquiry. we strive for a culture of excellence for all learners with a nurturing and inclusive community. to create a sense of belonging. we value diversity and seek to promote a de*per understanding of our world. we have 2 curriculum days at the start of next year, the first day is for the staff to come back and work in new teams on tuesday january 29th and on wednesday january 30th, the second day all staff will participate in a professional learning day being trained in restorative practices. we look forward to seeing all students in years 1– 6 back on thursday january 31st for the start of the 2019 academic year. our 2019 prep students will begin their first clas* on monday february 4th. best wishes to all families in our community for a very happy christmas, a wonderful festive season and safe holiday period. enjoy the opportunity to spend time with the children and be present with them and cherish all the precious moments that we have. wednesday 9th january to tuesday 29th january 2019. for bookings can be made directly to ooshc. if you would like to book a place on one of these tours please call the school office on 9822 7003. street parking is available along the surrounding roads. please be courteous to our neighbours when parking, dropping off or collecting students from school. obey parking signs and do not park in or over driveways. we ask that you leave enough time to drop off and pick up please give particular attention to how children alight from cars and come to meet you. if both home and school emphasise obeying road rules and safety procedures, our children will make a habit of responsible behaviour. parking, the law and you we use compas* school manager to simplify our payment and permission system for events. parents are able to login to their compas* account
