On December 15, 2018, our school represented by: Łukasz Dziendziel, Mikołaj Kliś and Mateusz Hutyra from clas* 2b they took part in the care of the history teacher Jan*sz Kaps in the city game entitled The Track of Solidarity. The game was attended by a total of 11 groups, at various points, the city participants performed various tasks related to the activities of the anti-communist opposition, including they sewed bands, they saw how the secret printing works, by the way they had to be careful not to get caught by the SB-kom, they also had the opportunity to meet witnesses of martial law. We are glad that we participated because it was great fun, and besides, we took the 3rd place, which we are very proud of. Traditionally at this time our school together with the Foundation Dr. Clown organized a Santa Claus collection of toys for children from the Pediatric Hospital in Bielsko-Biała. This year, we collected puzzles, board games and books. We managed to collect: Thank you very much to the committed students, parents and teachers! In November 2018. a historical knowledge contest on the jubilee of regaining independence was organized. Participants were teams composed of second grade students. The competition was prepared by professors - Jan*sz Kaps and Jacek Lisicki. Students of grades 3a and 3b of Junior High School No. 2 in technical clas*es made cotillions for invited guests. Participants of the school celebrations of the 100th anniversary of independence were invited guests - councilor Maksymilan Pryga, chairwoman of NSZZ Solidarność Jadwiga Utecht-Nalbrzak, school management, teachers, parents and representatives of all clas*es. The ceremony consisted of a competition part and a concert of Jacek Kaczmarski's songs performed by Michał Mańka 40 years ago from September 30 to October 1, 1978.
