On Day 5 of the Homestead Blog Hop, we get the honor of hosting our close friend Stephanie, The Crafty Kitty picture perfect in the kitchen while wearing this cutie.  Check it out!   This retro apron pattern features a sweetheart neckline, half circle skirt and finishes above the knee with contrasting bias binding and  One size fits most! Apron is 27” wide and 28” from top of bodice to bottom of skirt. Place neck strap pieces right sides facing (RSF) and sew the two long edges. Sew side skirt panels to the central skirt panel wrong sides facing (WSF) trim and press seams open. Sew two side waist ties to either side of a centre tie, repeat to create the back of the tie and press seams only. Sandwich the skirt between the front and back of the tie. Align centre of tie with notch and the joins of the tie with the edges of the skirt. Sew around one end of the tie, along the skirt and around the other end of the tie. Leaving the top of the centre tie open. Align the notch on the bodice with the centre of the front waist tie and sew in place. Turn the ends of the tie right side out and press the tie flat with the remaining seam allowances pressed to the wrong side.
