welcome to the official website of the billie jean king leadership initiative we are excited to ignite a conversation about inclusive those in positions of power to increase diverse opportunities at every corporate level through our three pillars of lift, learn, and lead. convene global forums educating women and men on the critical issues surrounding the importance of inclusive leadership, and the role every individual plays in driving change.  promote and facilitate platforms for conversation and action across all levels of an organization identify “next generation” research topics focused on inclusive leadership, featuring insights from global experts proposing solutions for positive change.  produce publications on topics and themes that emerge from our forums, and utilize innovative technologies to add host a biennial leadership conference, in partnership with global corporate leaders and universities, focused on the empowerment, authenticity and development of global talent.  ignite a dialogue on 21st century power dynamics and their impact on inclusion, leadership, the amount of untapped human potential in our world is enormous, yet in so many places, challenges like race, gender, and se*uality are used to discriminate against men and women and prevent them from reaching their full potential.  the billie jean king leadership initiative was founded as part of an effort to challenge the way these differences are seen, and encourage companies, corporations and individuals to embrace those with diverse personalities and lifestyles for the positive and unique contributions they bring to the workforce. our three pillars – lift, learn, and lead – are dedicated to inspiring future leaders, where we hope to motivate people and those in positions of power to promote diverse identities and challenge the status quo. with your help, we can reach the next generation, and together we will build a more inclusive, respectful society.. on september 6, 2018, we hosted our 5th annual symposium “champions of equality – open for change” at the us open tennis.
