Here I am in front of the Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca, which stands on a hill 280 meters above the city center - the sanctuary and the city are connected via a monumental arcade, the famous Portico di San Luca, the longest portico in the world. Oops...I did it again! Ate too many tortellini on Christmas Day Often in winter, when the clouds hover above Bologna, you’ll find blue skies as you make your way up toward the Apennines - like today, driving to this tiny mountain village to meet friends for lunch.
