December 1: Keep Louisiana Beautiful Workshop ​December 5: 3-5: LEAP 2025 SCIENCE AS*ESSMENT WORKSHOP invite teachers K-5th to attend a free environmental education workshop on Saturday, December 1, 2018.  The workshop will introduce teachers to a new environmental education program designed to help students become good environmental stewards.  The program contains 10 environmental lesson plans, hands-on activities for a variety of grade levels, fun activity sheets, student standards per grade level, and additional resources. Topics include; defining litter, timeline of trash, litter decomposition, watershed, clean water, effects on wildlife, plastics, reducing, reusing, recycling and civic responsibility.  held from 9am to 3pm at the Wanda Gunn Development Center at 3908 Joplin Street, Shreveport.    Registration by any other way is not accepted.
