Centralized registration for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year will begin on Monday, June 11, 2018.  Online registration is now available for students who have never attended CCSS schools.  Doughnut Day at CCSS! Central High School Senior Justin Nijoka has been named a finalist for the prestigious 2018 National Merit Scholarship, becoming the first student for the Central Community School System to receive the award.  Two of the great programs offered by CCSS are the Culture Coin award and Dental As*istance courses. CHS Talented Visual Arts students produce a variety of artworks that stretch their skills and creativity while incorporating fundamentals of design, such as line, shape, form, value, pattern, and color, to create engaging compositions. Field hockey is one of the many sports our little ones are introduced to at Bellingrath Hills Elementary. Christian Thompson, Senior Percussionist at Central High School, was selected for the 2017 LMEA All State Jazz Ensemble. Drew Las*eigne and Keenan Leachman were named to the All-District First Team. Kaleb Batiste, Parker Evans, and JAirus Moore garnered Second Team honors. Additionally, a number of student-athletes were awarded honorable mention. Dr. Jason Fountain is the Superintendent of the Central Community School System. He began serving as Superintendent in January 2018.
