welcome to university of western states continuing education online. we offer many courses for continuing education credit developed by our own instructors or through our educational partners. offering continuing education in a distance learning format allows for more choices in what you can learn and makes license renewal requirements more convenient. new courses are added frequently, so check back often. disclaimer: while uws will transcript the continuing education credits for these courses, the material being presented solely reflects the views of the presenter and is not necessarily endorsed by uws. please make sure to check your own state requirements for accepted ce helpful instructions on how to login and register for the many courses uws and our other educational providers offer. remember, you may be using different usernames and pas*words at each of the other provider sites. we recommend you record them somewhere uws continuing education site improvement starting tuesday, february 20th we’re excited to announce that our new and refreshed continuing education site will be live on tuesday, february 20th. the site the updated site includes changes to navigation, with drop-down menus and course topic links. we’ve also improved the structure of our homepage content, so you’ll get more from a quick read. there’s a whole host of smaller but impactful changes, all to make your if you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected].  between wednesday night and thursday morning - from 2 am to 6 am pacific time - uws ce online will be upgraded from moodle 2.9 to 3.0. though we don't anticipate any problems, we advise not working in ce online courses during that time. the upgrade is relatively minor, and there will be virtually no visible changes to ce online once the upgrade is completed.
