In the B Economy, businesses compete to be best for the world, the people living in it, and the natural environment on which our quality of life depends. In the B Economy, people have jobs that satisfy the de*per, innate reasons we go to work: to build something meaningful, to strengthen community ties, and to provide a good life for their loved ones. Champions Retreat is the annual gathering of mission-driven leaders of the B Corp community focused on collective action and continuous improvement. Each year, hundreds of leaders gather for three days of meaningful collaboration, relationship building, and shared learning. Community-led, impact-focused sessions are complemented by inspirational events designed to cultivate bonds and shared memories. The B Economy is, and must be, bigger than B Corps; it is part of a broader global movement of people using business as a force for good. We welcome Certified B Corporations (and future B Corps), Benefit Corps, B An*lytics Partners, Academics, social impact organizations and all members of the B Economy, to join us in New Orleans. By expanding our bonds of collaboration and trust, we can spread our ideas further, explore new ways to create impact, and discover what we can do together that we can’t do alone Certified B Corp), and local non-profits, these unique opportunities are a great for you to explore and learn about New Orleans and its people in the company of a small group of your B Economy peers. Busses will begin boarding at 8am at the Intercontinental Hotel 5:00PM - (OPTIONAL) B ECONOMY MEET & GREET - Help us introduce the B Corporation community to New Orleans at The Sugar Mill located in New Orleans' historic Warehouse District. Come out for an inspiring hour of fun and connections as we connect with local organizations, individuals, and businesses to learn about B corps and their impact around the world. This hour-long reception will be particularly helpful for Bs who are new to the community, or who want to re-learn the basics of B Corp Certification. Register for this free event here.
