cheshire search and rescue is a team of volunteers, on call 24 hours daily, 365 days a year.  Ready to deploy at any time, in just about any weather. The primary function of the team is to as*ist authorities with searches for vulnerable missing people. As the need arises, but the team has capability for flooding response, evidence supporting and hunting crisis services. Covering 904 square miles (2.34 million square metres) of cheshire, the varied terrain consists of rural property, towns and cities, moorland, woods, and some rather intense earth. This means as*ociates must be well prepared to handle are as far different to this plains that are cheshire. Cheshire also boasts more miles of waterways than uk counties, so lately years we've advanced our water based search capability outside our very own geographic bounds, we regularly work along with neighbouring lowland and mountain rescue teams. More than just a search and rescue team, csar is part of the area also believes in supporting community and authorities competitions in cheshire, providing health insurance and first aid instruction, supporting community initiatives like the awardwinning victoria park experience (vpx), along with also increasing understanding of emergency and voluntary services.  We have strong links to the sampling along with community organisations of cheshire, providing first aid rescue pay for events and regularly seeing with groups to talk about our job. Search and rescue team has been made with little more than torches and high visibility coats and started as a group of community lively individuals in 2004 following a disappearance of a te*nage gi*l.
