Citizens of Whitehorse are finding it more difficult to afford to live and work in their own city. Our top priority is attainable housing options to rent and buy for Whitehorse citizens.  Changing bylaws to allow for more housing and business options, meaningful public consultation, and working effectively with non-profits, the private sector, and other levels of government. Our city taxes are among some of the highest in the country when compared with cities of comparable size; inefficiencies and redundant spending are burning through tax dollars faster than an open door in January. We will get Whitehorse back on a solid financial footing, and make sure your tax dollars are spent effectively and responsibly to deliver the services you rely on every day. When it comes to our safety, we can’t just wait for a crisis to act. As your mayor, I will be focused every single day on ensuring we all From speeding, parking, to crime, we want to take proactive steps to make each Whitehorse neighbourhood safer for my family and yours. Our city's growth percentages match some of the biggest cities in the world. The old way is not working. We have an opportunity to learn from what other cities have done, implement what works for Whitehorse, and continue to grow and thrive.  We  have the opportunity as a city to create a paradigm shift in the way we all live and work.
