CARE AND SUPPORT FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY TERMINAL ILLNESSES IN CORNWALL. We are a Cornish charity that provides specialist care for people with terminal illnesses 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our clinical teams support in and out patients and their families at Mount Edgcu*be Hospice in St Austell, St Julia’s Hospice in Hayle and in Cornwall’s hospitals, care homes and in the community. We also run a 24 hour advice line for other healthcare professionals. We also share our skills and knowledge through various education programmes supporting the healthcare workers of the future. There are many ways you can support the valuable work of Cornwall Hospice Care. Your purchases, and your donated items, contribute directly to the well-being of hospice patients. Every year it costs over £5million to provide the specialist care we offer to our in and out patients. The majority of this is raised by the people of Cornwall, people like you. A group of charities and organisations in Cornwall have come together to launch a new project as part of Dying Matters Week (14thto 20th May).  The aim is to ask people to consider what they want in death while they’re very much alive.  It’ll encourage people to opt in for organ donation and to complete an Advance Decision, which explains what the person would want if they couldn’t speak for Cornwall Hospice Care Limited is an independent Cornish charity.
