Counseling Partners of Los Angeles (CPLA) is dedicated to improving the lives of students attending schools in underserved areas of Los Our team of highly committed and compas*ionate counselors provides school-based counseling services at Los Angeles schools for elementary and high school students throughout the school year. We also support our school communities when crises and other special needs arise by providing presentations, consultations, resources and support to students, faculty and families.  Gifts of any amount are needed throughout the year. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services estimates that 75%-80% of children who need mental health services don’t receive it. Students who receive social-emotional support and prevention services achieve better academically in school.School mental health programs have significantly greater access to children and adolescent relative to community mental health services as evidenced by: 70-80% of children and adolescents who receive mental health services access those services in a school setting.
