at crossfit fortis we’re about combining functional fitness and community in a fun environment. we want to be the best hour of your day. sweat, laugh, lose yourself the moment you walk in the door. we believe your health and wellness is non-negotiable. our team of coaches are here to make sure every member is reaching their goals in a safe, fun and friendly environment. they are constantly learning, growing and educating themselves to provide the best platform possible for our members to excel.. the aim of crossfit is to forge a broad, general and inclusive fitness. crossfit is constantly varied, functional movements performed. this isn’t intimidating at all, it’s actually …. powerful. welcoming. comforting. it’s community and it is the foundation upon. our physiotherapists are healthcare professionals who are primarily concerned with the remediation of dysfunctions and disabilities in. order to promote mobility, functional ability and quality of life.  . after hanging up his baseball cleats from an elite career, dan discovered crossfit through a video showcasing amazing athletes displaying a variety of physical feats.  dan, having always trained and played in a competitive environment and having always challenged and pushed himself to get to the next level,  naturally gravitated to crossfit as a sport to replace his exercise needs and fuel his competitive fire. so much so that eventually,  he wanted make this his livelihood; to share this type of training with others in his community.  in 2012,  dan’s dream, crossfit fortis was established.  dan takes great pride in delivering the crossfit methodology with enthusiasm in a safe environment, creating a community that cannot be matched anywhere else.  it becomes obvious quickly to members, that his dedication, pas*ion, discipline, compas*ion and drive , just to name a few, will help them and all athletes at crossfit fortis reach their fitness goals and potential. rob has been doing crossfit for 6 years and has carried his love of the methodology and community over to the coaching side of things.
