For the past two years I have been exploring all the peaks, ridges, summits and hills of the greater San Francisco Bay Area, hiking and photographing some of the amazing wildlands in the region (and some not-so-wild lands). We live in a part of the world surrounded by marvelous natural beauty and much of it has been preserved thanks to dedicated conservation efforts of so many people. Yet many of the people who live here are unaware of so many of the natural wonders that surround us. There are over 500 hills peaks ridges and mountains conservation efforts, hiking and history. Additional summits are being added on an ongoing basis.
