On November 28, Superintendent Dr. Jesus Jara recognized the principals of 62 Clark County schools as part of the 2018-2019 SUPERINTENDENT’S HONOR ROLL at a celebration event, hosted by The Public Education Foundation. Del Webb Middle School was ranked a 5-Star school on the 2018 Nevada School Performance Framework, qualifying the school to receive this Congratulations to the students and staff of Del Webb Middle School for their accomplishments in going “One Step Further” in their Our next Principal's Book Chat will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019, in the library during all lunches. Copies of the books are available in the Del Webb M.S. library for students to check out, or from a local library. Students should read the book prior to the day of the book chat. Students may bring their lunch with them to the book chats on January 24th. 6th Grade: Escape From Mr. Lemoncello’s Library by Chris Grabenstein The next meeting of the Del Webb Middle School Organizational Team Meeting will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019, from 3:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. in Room 904. Members of the community are welcome to attend. Anyone wishing to speak during the public comment period for this meeting may call Claire Claros at (702) 799-1305, ext. 4100, or sign up in person immediately prior to the beginning of the meeting. Superintendent Jara announced a new program to deter students from bringing weapons on campus. We will conduct periodic searches of random students. Remember: No weapons are allowed on campus.
