our objective is to promote in the students the respect, the values, the honesty, the strength, the discipline and the responsibility. we. believe that the student should obtain a vision of the real life through the taekwon-do practice. taekwon-do is a korean martial arts that was developed by a combination of karate (japanese) and taekkyeon (korean). since the beginning, taekwon-do has been a great tool for children because they not only learn to kick and punch but they learn, discipline, respect to others, confidence, courtesy and perseverance. these are some of the benefits and qualities they will obtain only hi, my name is emmanuel reyes and i am the head instructor and owner of do-martial arts taekwon-do. i started training itf taekwon-do when i was 6 years old. it was a long journey until i get my black belt at the age of 13, but i learned life skills that i didn’t learn from a regular school. i became more confident, i gain a better self-esteem since i was always bullied at school, i stay fit during all those years until i graduated from high school and learned to never give up when things are getting difficult or harder to achieve. when i moved to florida i couldn’t find any school that teach itf taekwon-do, so i decided to open my own dojang to share my experience and to pas* the same skills, values and life changing experiences to my students.
