An exercise in working for a client, we undertook this project to realize the dreams of an aspiring artist and music producer. Victor Kao (Wxde), is a master of both vocals and sound mixing, and required a visual medium through which he could connect to viewers and listeners worldwide. This would entail finding something more obscure about ourselves to capture, and therefore challenge us to explore more innovative ways of encapsulating character on film. To succeed in creating this film, I would have to express myself in video form in an interesting way and set myself apart from other applicants who are attempting the same supplement. Given this prompt, I wanted to explore a more comedic style of film. All my previous work was extremely serious and dry and relied heavily on better editing to create a story.
