emergency communications training net's main purpose is to train the new am*teur radio operators and the experience operators in emergency. communications over the air.  the training will involve all areas of emergency communications that the am*teur radio operator will need. . this will include the needed training including the fema ics courses, emergency net operating procedures, different modes of communications, the emergency communications training net will meet every saturday night at 9:30 pm. eastern time on echolink to be able to participate in the emergency communications training net, you need to have the echolink software installed on your computer or your smart phone.  echolink is worldwide allowing communications to be established between computer to repeater or from station to anyone that is involved in emergency communications, from governmental agencies, non-governmental organizations (ngo's), and even the am*teur radio emergency communication groups need to understand how the national incident management system (nims) operates.  all exercises, events, incidents, and disasters follows and operates on the national incident management system.  the emergency communications training net will be training on the national incident management system along with the other emergency communication topics. if you have a am*teur radio license and want to learn how and get involved in emergency communications, please join us every saturday night at 9:30 pm eastern time on echolink (k4wbt-r).  for more information and to find out what we will be training on next, please.
