The JALT ER SIG invites all interested educators and researchers to submit presentation proposals for the 10th Annual Extensive Reading Seminar, which will be held in Hiroshima, Japan on Saturday and Sunday, October 13-14, 2018 at the Hiroshima YMCA International Please make clearly written submissions for posters, presentations, or workshops in English or Japanese related to the theme of the conference, Reflections on Extensive Reading, and which introduce useful ideas for promoting, starting, managing or maintaining for submissions is April 15th and acceptance notifications are expected to be made by the end of May. You will need to log in or make an account here in order to submit and manage proposals. We ask that you limit submissions to no more than two per presenter, including any co-presented submissions. For co-presented submissions, each presenter will need to have an account at this website or they will not appear in the program nor be able to register. In your submission, please clearly describe your proposed session in a 150-200 word abstract. In the body of your submission, please avoid including details that will make you easily identifiable to proposal vetters. However, please do make clear what language and context your submission relates to (e.g., English in a Japanese junior high school, or Japanese in a language school). If accepted, your submission will appear as the handbook abstract, so make it clear to both vetters and potential attendees what your session will involve.
