the east and southeast asia federation of soil science societies. esafs is the federation of soil science societies in east and southeast as*an regions.  this website provides general information. on behalf of malaysian soil science society, we would like to inform that the 15th esafs will be re-scheduled due to the covid-19 pandemic. and will be held  on 22-26 august 2022 in hotel istana kuala lumpur, malaysia. first announcement of esaf2022 will be distributed soon. indonesian society of soil science would like to inform you that the indonesian center or agricultural land resources research and development (icalrrd) hosted the 1st international conference on sustainable tropical land management (icstlm) 2020 on september 16th – 18th, 2020, jakarta through virtual way. this conference was held on the theme of adapting land management to climate change and combating land degradation to increase resilience of agricultural system. the event information could be access through this link  cancellation : the 4th global soil security 2020 (gss 2020) scheduled to be take place in seoul, korea, in october 2020, has been cancelled the federation shall aim at promoting researches in soil and related sciences and disseminating the acquired knowledge and technology for the benefit of the member societies in the region of east and southeast asia.  the esafs award is presented to to recognize and honor distinguished contributions to the  esafs. international conference of esafs has been held about every 2 years since the 1st conference was held in 1991, in osaka, japan.
