It geese were bred with an optimal meat-bone ratio, which were kept in the field and slaughtered only dry - then a rarity in Germany, because most geese came from Polish or Hungarian wet slaughter, the too big since 1990 concentrates junior boss Lorenz Eskildsen to the regions of North and East Germany. On the fa*ms in Wermsdorf, Königswartha and Gudendorf, the agricultural specialization and with it the development of the Eskildsen goose is consistently pursued.
