MISSION STATEMENT TO PROVIDE HOLISTIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES AND SERVICES TO YOUTH-AT-RISK. Vision Statement To facilitate the establishment of development episodes to provide holistic programmes that empower the disadvantaged, thereby producing multi-generational leaders. Statement of Intent Transforming tomorrow today – “One life at a time” Ethel’s Place exists to serve the community. We have been doing so since 1991. Our focus has very much shifted from residential care to what it is today – Community services. Ethel’s Place has over the past few months been involved in a number of activities through various organisations and stakeholders. Part of the rationality on what is being done through the ministry of Ethel’s Place is to re-establish our brand and look at becoming more resourceful to the greater Mitchell’s Plain community. A great deal of this stems from my personal relationships with these entities and hinges on my involvement. Apart from the many greater Mitchell’s Plain Action activities, Ethel’s Place is also very much a life source to the immediate community it is located in. To many, Pastor Fabe and Ashley Potts is synonymous to Ethel’s Place.
