you have ja*ascript disabled. this site uses ja*ascript for some functionality and without it, may not work as intended. a huge thank you! to everyone who attended our presentation and auction night on wednesday. thanks to your generosity we raised a further £578.50 for our charities, taking the total raised this year to £2415.64 this meant that we were able to present gosport & fareham inshore rescue and the rainbow centre with £1208 each (after a quick dip into a pocket to find 36p!). we also presented our winning teams with their cups and medals on the night (see below for some images of the presentations made by the mayor of fareham, mrs susan bayford). fareham rafters would once again like to thank everyone who took part in or attended the race and presentation night. without you we would not be able to raise this money for these very worthy causes. we hope to see you all again next year. to keep an eye out for announcements about next year's event.. congratulations to the race winners - rafty mcraft face and also to the winners of the best dressed raft - the kraken. if you have collected sponsorship money, please get in touch with us, either via the contact form on this site, or via facebook messenger and we will give you the details for getting the money to us. the fareham raft race is an annual event which raises money for mainly local charities, that has been running for many years. the course runs from lower quay, across the creek towards upper quay and back again, with a staging area at the slipway. there will be a number of preliminary races (dependant on the number of entrants) that whittle the field down to two rafts who will race each other for the honour of the 2017 event raised a total of £1320 which was split equally between gafirs and the rainbow centre. a huge 'thank you!' once again the raft race is regularly covered by local news media. click to view a report support the raft race by purchasing a raft race t-shirt. limited number available. ladies in small & medium, mens in small, medium &
