Knotty alder was used for the doors and kitchen cabinetry which has those cool soft-close drawers. Granite tops the island with a bar that seats 3 for breakfast, tapas, cocktails, you name it. The kitchen and living room are connected, making a great open room with lovely cathedral ceilings.  A stunning dual-sided stone fireplace is the centerpiece between the great room and the sweet dining nook with its walls of windows. All 3 bedrooms have a full bathroom for ease and convenience. A soaking tub and bidet add sophistication to the signature master suite in the middle. French doors from this room connect it to the great room. This home is both elegant and cozy, refined and yet rustic. The design was so well thought out, the craftsmanship is amazing, the engineering reflected in the price, every detail fussed over. It's been quite the journey and labor of love for the last 9 years. The owner calls this The Mystic River Home as it has approximately 200 feet of river front property that’s currently pretty elusive and hard to get to. But it’s out there...
