Dr. Portoghese is a graduate of the University of South Florida College of Medicine, where he also completed his residency training. While in private practice since completion of his training, he has focused on general surgery. Dr. Portoghese has been a clerkship faculty for Florida State University College of Medicine since 2002, and was appointed As*ociate Professor of Surgery for the University of Central Florida college of Medicine in 2007.
