He was the one who was born of the Holy Spirit, and the Virgin, Mary. He was the one who suffered under Pontius Pilate. He was the one who was crucified, who died and who was buried. On the third day, however, he arose from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God, the Father. From there he shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the One True Church, the communion of the saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the believer, and everlasting life. Amen.
