Our NOON Program speaker for January 4, 2019 is Sonja Conklin, Marketer for Air Med Care.  Her program is titled  “Message, Service, and Membership of Air Ambulances”. Air ambulances save lives every day providing advanced life support and rapid air medical The 2019 Friends of the Library Annual Dinner is set for Sunday January 27, 2019.  This year our plated dinner comes from Matt Williams and the Gourmet Garage, Catering Co. and Commissary in Loomis. The menu looks spectacular.  Our first course is a Citrus Yes we have a NOON Program on Friday November 2nd.  Our speaker is Chris Enss, TV and Film Scriptwriter and Comedienne.  Cris is Author of The Principals of Posse Management, The Pinks, & Cowboys, Creatures, and Clas*ics. Come early and have coffee or tea plus a It’s time to start thinking about our annual fundraiser.  This year the Silent Auction will take place on January 27, 2019 in combination with our wonderful dinner.  The Library is transformed into a magical environment with the fabulous donations displayed atop the book Our speaker is Jim Crosthwaite, Executive Director Arts Council of Placer County (ACPC). Jim is a graduate of Placer High School and retired after a combined 30 years with Cities of Roseville and Rocklin. He will provide new and exiting news of what all has been Auburn Across Auburn tells of the adventure of Dave Yancey and his 1935 Auburn Coup as he traveled from Auburn California to 32 other The repaired glas* display case is back.  It is now located in the Quiet Room of the library.  Please take a moment and go see the current displays.  The schedule for the next 8 months is as follows:  May – Shari Dearing will be showing “Take Note Troup” This past Thursday was the Big Day of Giving.  Now you ask so how did FOL do?  We did well, $4,035!  46 online donations were received in the amount of $2,474.  12 checks and actual cash in the amount of $1,561.   THANK YOU one and all..
