Foxwood Community Centre in York, is a modern all-purpose building that hosts community groups and events and is available for hire for private parties,wedding receptions,Christenings,funeral teas,exhibitions,seminars or business meetings. to a number of regular groups and services that benefit the whole community. Whether you are young or old, have a young family or are living alone, your community centre is the place to find interesting activities on The centre is all on one level and is fully accessible. Disabled toilet and baby changing provision are provided. The main hall floor is “sprung” so ideal for dances etc and the accoustics are second to none. For businesses we are an excellent venue for small to medium size meetings, with ample parking. We have free Wi-Fi. Our office has two designated work stations, can be used for hot desking or for a meeting space for 14 people. The hall can accommodate 100 people and is fully equipped with pull down screen. We have a large garden area with BBQ for use with disposable BBQs only. For small groups looking for a venue, we are in great demand, but we will always try to find a slot for you too.
