room all roomss single roomm double roomm+ double rooml family roomxl family room all roomss single roomm double roomm+ double rooml family roomxl family room we are a mountain resort. a retreat for everyone who’s looking for peace and quiet in nature – and an outdoor hotel for everyone who loves the freedom of the mountains. here you’ll find active holidaymakers – especially families, groups of friends and sporty couples – right by the valley station of the nas*feld ski resort. in the thick of it, not on the outside looking in: franz ferdinand is situated right next to the valley station of the nas*feld ski resort – with 30 lifts, 110 kilometres of pistes, the longest floodlit area in the alps, a snowboard & freeride area and a snowpark. you can rent skis and equipment in the hotel, where you’ll also find a ski and snowboard service and even a ski school. plenty of room. at franz ferdinand, your room has comfortable designer furniture, warm colours, brilliant beds and big windows. a large area right by the entrance serves as a sport space – a large entrance room where you can easily store your skis, boots and boards in the winter. it even has a boot dryer. and in the summer you can use the large ramps to take your mountain bike with you to your room. a hotel that’s also a playground. franz ferdinand has plenty of space. so much space that we built the tallest climbing wall in any austrian hotel right inside the property. it’s 16 metres tall – from the floor to the roof. and right next door you’ll find the next challenge: a four-metre bouldering wall where our guests can test out their free climbing skills. we love children. which is why we give them lots of space to run free. we have installed a 140-square-metre indoor play area. and we’re more than happy to show our young and active guests the nature and mountains that surround the hotel. we serve modern alpe-adria cuisine in our hotel restaurant. with delicious, regional produce – so regional that we source as much as
