scents inspired by characters, stories and the love of reading! perfect for those who love literature and handmade gifts. we use 100% soy wax, lead-free cotton wicks and hand-selected fragrance oils. our candle containers are both reusable and this candle was pas*ed around my book club and every person agreed it was a hit. it smells like a book store complete with a great espresso i swear i smell a bit of vanilla in this...but also a tiny touch of smoke, and cedar, and i just want to wrap up in a robe and binge this candle smells great, like you're walking through a snow covered forest and can smell the chimney smoke from the scattered houses. it's as a retired librarian, you solved all of my holiday gifting! the candles arrived fast, in perfect condition and the quality is tops. now i just need to indulge for myself. thanks for being so creative! this candle smells exactly as the description suggests: chocolatey and rich, with occasional, nutty hints of coffee. it is radiant and warm, this scent blend is one of my favorites. the notes of petrichor -- the smell rain makes on dry earth -- fit very nicely with the earthy ginger and lavender. very relaxing! it really makes me want to settle down with a book and fall into a good story. whether i'm researching, reading, doing paperwork, or working on a story, oxford library's homey scent helps me settle right in without distracting me. i wish my whole house smelled like this all the time! this is, by far, my favorite out of all of the candles i've bought from here! it's spicy, sweet, and the perfect scent to burn while a warm, sweet scent that's perfect for when you're bundled up inside with a good book or movie. this is a wonderful candle and it took me back to being in beautiful scottish highlands. very relaxing and has a great, fresh smell. i this has quickly become my go-to, all-time favorite candle! it gives me just enough incense without being overpowering, and the tea rounds out the scent. not to mention, each one is has a unique swirl in its coloring. love it!
