Although the word sol*taire can mean almost every single card game, in Poland, sol*taire often means one particular game, which in English is called 'Klondike' (i.e. clas*ic sol*taire) and has a characteristic initial arrangement of cards in the shape of a triangle. Although this sol*taire has been presented by our grandmother for decades, its real renaissance came when it was added to Windows 3.0. Since then, crowds of office workers have been wasting countless hours on playing sol*taire. IT staff often block access to the game in Windows, which forces employees to look for sol*taire games. We start the game with a shuffled deck of cards. The goal of the game is to sort the cards due to the color and number. To sort the cards, place them face down on one of the four base boxes in the upper right part of the screen. We start with each ace, and then place cards with higher and higher numbers on them, making sure that the cards on the particular base box have the same color (one of four: clubs, spades, diamonds, hearts). Cards should be moved to the fields with the mouse, using the drag-and-drop technique (drag and drop). In other words, click on the tab, hold down the mouse bu*ton, move the mouse over the base box and release the mouse bu*ton releasing the card. If there are no cards on the board that could be placed on the base boxes, the player has the option of picking cards from the stack located in the upper left corner of the screen.
