In April 2012, Dreux came to Venice, California as Executive Chef of Cafe Gratitude in Southern California bringing his health-based, flavor driven cuisine to a wider audience. He now oversees the culinary direction at all the restaurants in the region, including Arts District, Larchmont Village, Venice, and San Diego, and the new upscale iteration of the iconic restaurant, Gratitude, in Maxwell Reis is the Beverage Director at Gratitude and Gracias Madre, where focuses on using the best seasonal produce as well as a top-tier selection of spirits to bring a mindfully crafted co*ktail experience for bar patrons. Reis has long had a pas*ion for bartending, where he made his first foray into the world of hospitality working in restaurants as a young te*n growing up in Napa, CA. His start in the bartending industry truly began in 2009, when Reis had the opportunity to work bartending gigs across LA, then moving onto independent pop-ups and consulting projects, as well as having the chance to work alongside esteemed bartender Shawn Lickliter at Los Angeles restaurant staple, République.  Reis brings his years of experience to Gratitude and Gracias Madre, continuing to curate and innovate the vegan beverage program which truly proves there are no limits to a strictly produce-based menu.
