The Board of Education is considering a change to the regular schedule of meetings.  In the past, we have had two BOE meetings per month, held on the first and third Wednesday.  Starting in January, the BOE will try holding one meeting per month and see how it works out.  There will be a meeting on the first Wednesday of each month.  By the end of the second week of that month, the BOE with input from the administrators, will determine if a second meeting is needed.    Through the generous support of our community businesses and volunteers, we have awarded 584 scholarships, totaling $436,000 over eighte*n years. The Greene Community Scholarship Committee is committed to raising money to be awarded to qualifying students in the form of scholarships. Our goal is to expand our students educational opportunities and support their achievements.  Annually, many events are held, and this year’s campaign has already begun. Please consider contributing or participating in our upcoming events for a great cause.
