You can use it to see the range of possible returns if it grows at one of three example rates of growth of 2%, 5% and 8%. WHAT IS AN ISA?ISAs are a great way to invest, as any gains or income are free from personal tax. There's an annual ISA allowance, which allows contributions to a stocks and shares ISA, cash ISA, lifetime ISA and innovative finance ISA. The ISA allowance for this tax year is £20,000 and you can decide whether to invest or save into any combination of four, as long as you don't exceed the annual allowance.
