Starting on January 1, 2019 our area will be part of the newly drawn 8th Congressional District. Rep. Matt Cartwright will be our new representative in the Washington DC. Congressman Elect Cartwright will discuss legislation affecting the Greater Hazleton area community. Attendees will also have the opportunity for a question and answer session at the end of his presentation. The breakfast program is sponsored by the Standard Speaker, and will take place Friday, December 14t at Sand Springs Celebrations, 10 Clubhouse Drive, Drums. The program will begin at 7:45 am and conclude at 9:00 am. A full breakfast will be served at the upcoming breakfast program for a $20 fee for chamber members and a $25 fee for non-chamber members.
