i thought i would create something a little out of the box today. i’m sure many of you have seen those mesh style wreaths all over the place, but have you seen one in crochet? well, it’s about time that you did!  i absolutely love the color combination that i used for this flurry wrap. there is just something so clas*ic about ivory, country blue and oh my gosh…this melted snowman project was just too much fun! i can’t handle the cuteness overload! hey there! it’s getting colder and colder here every day and the holidays are approaching fast. i wanted to design a headband-style ear warmer that you could wear anywhere, but would also make a great gift. that’s when the frost headband was born! the other day, my hair stylist asked if i could make her some washcloths. she wanted to put gift baskets together with spa items for a few of her friends for christmas presents. and when i sat down to design them, i couldn’t decide on just one stitch. there were so many that were just lovely, but i managed to narrow it down to three that i really loved. that’s when i decided that i would be making we’ve seen a couple flakes here in pennsylvania, but it’s been way too warm for anything to stick. so in preparation for the white stuff, hey everyone! today i wanted to share a quick and easy pattern with you. the gift giving season is almost here and i thought that the spice hooded cowl would make a perfect gift for someone on your list! or for i’m so excited to share my pumpkin placemat pattern with you all today! wouldn’t your seasonal or holiday table look so cute with one out and a good friend of mine suggested that i make a matching throw pillow to go with it! how could i say no? i have to say that i love the look of a crocheted slouchy hat. they’re so casual and comfortable. and those two words happen to describe my entire way of life! i don’t dress up unless it is absolutely necessary.
