IMPRINT is the first of its kind MHRD supported Pan-IIT + IISc joint initiative to address the major science and engineering challenges that India must address and champion to enable, empower and embolden the nation for inclusive growth and self-reliance. A Domain Expert Committee (DEC) for each domain was set up to manage the review of these proposals and make recommendations to the IMPRINT Apex Committee. A total of 259 proposals were approved by the Apex Committee. Of these 142 proposals have received support from a ministry, council or department in addition to the Ministry of Human Resource development. The successful implementation of these proposals holds out the promise of delivering tangible results to society.
