120km to the northwest of Prague and lies close to the German border and skiing resort Oberwiesenthal. Traditionally it offers excellent snow conditions throughout the season on 12 km of ski slopes of all levels. The area is 35 ha and is covered by technical snow in 80%. Before the coming season there has been significant modernization in the resort and there will be some new things for skiers and snowboarders. Last season we introduced a new 4seat chair lift CineStar Express with orange bubble cover. This year a new SUZUKI lift was launched which replaced the T-bar lift at ski slope Přemostěná. It is a fourseat chair lift with magic carpet, with the capacity to transport 2400 people in an hour. Moreover, we have advanced the snowing system. This year we continue in the the successful cooperation with the ski resort Oberwiesenthal. The ski region Fichtelberg – Klínovec offers 27 km of ski slopes of all levels, with ski pas*es for two days or more. At Klínovec you can find 4 chair lifts and 7 ski lifts. There is a snowpark with a range of jumps and hurdles as well as 30 km of groomed cross country skiing trails. We are also caring about the little ones, who can find entertainment in the baby skipark with a lift for free or we can look after them here. Families will appreciate a whole range of family tickets. Other services include skiing schools, ski rentals, restaurants and fast Ski area in Fichtelberg is the biggest centre of winter sports in Sachsen. In close vicinity you can find 10 km of slopes of easy, medium and high difficulty with the total length of 15,5km. You can reach all slopes with a cableway, 4 ski lifts and in good weather conditions a single seat chairlift whcih takes you up to Small Fichtelberg (1206 m). Alternatively you can use 4seat chairlift with protection bubbles of Skiing company LGO mbh. There is also a lit ski slope on the central skiing slope and you can have lots of fun at Modern snowcats and the system of snowguns guarantee nicely groomed ski slopes and the certainty of snow.
