this article is about how to upload the sketch in the intel galileo while running a yocto linux image on the board and without the image first of all, try to connect the board via micro usb cable and power adapter. go to the device manager from my computer and check for the hardware changes. you will see the cdc serial port having the yellow device driver error. click on: right click->update device driver->browse my computer for the device driver->arduino path->hardware->x86->enter. it will automatically find the driver and driver will update. you can see than that cdc serial will change to galileo in the ports and com section of the device manager. open you arduino ide and try to upload blink example on the board (don’t forget to select the galileo board gen 2 from the.     2. upload the code when working with the yocto-linux image. first attach all the wires to the board i.e. micro usb cable, serial uart cable, power cable with the board. after that go to the device manager from my computer. there you should see two ports, one is for the serial connector and second one for the micro usb. for the uart connector, select: right click->update device driver->browse my computer for the driver->select the arduino it will automatically find the driver and will upload the driver. now you will see that the other will show as cdc serial with the yellow mark which shows error in installing. follow the following right click->update device driver->choose my computer for device driver->let me pick from a list of device driver on my computer->ports and coms->intel corporation->galileo->click yes for the warning. after that your driver will gets install and you can for the same blink example in exactly the same way you uploaded without sd card. you can check with the date and time that is it the latest sketch or not. i am sure many people are working on the ble technology and even on the projects like indoor location positioning, distance approximation from the rssi value of the ble beacon. this article is short and simply about the distance calculation from the rssi value of the ble
