We must empower the next generation to succeed by teaching them how to manage their money, be ready to enter the workplace and to think innovatively. Through local volunteers, we’re bridging the gap between what students learn in the clas*room and the real world. By empowering today’s students, we’re ensuring a robust and sustainable future for south Texas. JA’s unique program model places volunteers from the community into the clas*rooms where they teach our curriculum to students and share The numbers are in and with the help of 4,480 pas*ionate volunteers, JA of South Texas was able to impact 94,459 student in south Texas. Junior Achievement of South Texas is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.  We rely on the support of the community to ensure our local students have the tools they need  to succeed in a global economy. The JA events are one way the local community helps JA's mission.  Whether you're the casual type that feels at home in a bowling center or the sophisticated type who likes to rub elbows with the local who's-who in a black-tie gala, there is something for everyone.
