Our North American culture, based solely and rotating around the primal axis of consumerism and a culture that echos collectively the cultural and spiritual syndrome of “me, me, me”, has forgotten the most precious and profound gift of all –the ultimate gift of Jesus Majority of people have a tough time sharing the gospel. Many are afraid of push back or losing social status with friends; others are afraid of persecution, but majority simply don’t know how to bridge the gap between what they know and communicating it effectively and Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a clear blueprint –a plan, a design for your life? Such a plan would give you all the important steps in life. From birth to your final last breath, there would be clear instructions for what you were supposed to do and who you were What is life and what is peace? For some it is found in drinking. In drinking they find life, pas*ion and excitement from the mundane, and in escaping the mundane they feel temporary peace; others find it in recreational activities, success, yoga and a form of meditation that Have you ever watched the innocent wonder of a new born baby’s face as it lights up with innumerable and inexpressible joy, just upon seeing their father’s face? The same beautiful concept can be easily applied to our faith, in that many people have varied emotional Consumerism and selfishness have crept it’s way into our North American psyche just like fast food chains crept into the food industry, both becoming the new cultural norm.
