There's no better way to celebrate 7 years of www.keystage2literacy.co.uk and reaching 1000 followers on Facebook, than to redesign the website. The site now has well in excess of 200 individual pages but sometimes navigation was not clear or easy to follow through. Also, things continue to change in education and it's important to keep up and ensure that I continue to offer a fresh look that is relevant to the audience. Time has been spent and will be spent over the coming weeks streamlining some of the pages and the links between pages so that this site delivers you the most efficient user-friendly experience. Finally, I have taken the decision to remove all of the adverts on the site as I'd rather a clutter-free environment for you to navigate. Juggling this website and the Facebook page alongside a full-time job is not easy but I enjoy updating new things that are happening in my year. I always aim to use any spare time I have to bring you more content to use with your clas*es and offer not just resources, but ideas for sequences of lessons or one-off activities. THE SPAG COVERAGE GRID has been a labour of love for so many months. In May 2017, the Coverage Grid (in its current format) went live and over the last 10 months has been do*nloaded over 500 times. People have contacted me from near and far to say that the content has really helped them to revise for the end of year National Tests and that they have shared it with their colleagues along the way. Those who deliver Literacy training have also contacted to ask if they can pas* on the link! As it stands, the Coverage Grid is in PowerPoint format and has over 70 pages. At this length, it is just manageable in terms of do*nload size. However, it would be far more beneficial if the content were to be delivered through the website, offering you the opportunity to share content through iPads and other mobile devices. This would
