QUESTION PAPER FORMAT FOR TEST OF BASIC KNOWLEDGE IN SUBJECTS. Our Institute was created as Shree Dharmendrasinhji Arts and Science College. The official opening of the mother institution was performed by honorable Mr E. C. Gibson on 16th December 1937. Dr R. K. Yagnik (M.A. Ph.D. -- London) was clearly one of the Primary of the faculty, who left a wonderful efforts for its evolution of the faculty from 1941 to 1950. By 1937 to 1947 faculty was connected to Bombay University. In 1947 separate Science section was created in fresh building with the fiscal support of famous industrialist of Rajkot and former Finance Minister (Saurashtra State) Shri Gidhubhai Bhavanbhai Kotak, that donated Rs. 1,11,111 for its science faculty in the loving memory of his forefathers Hon. Late Shri Harjivandas Bhavanbhai Kotak along with Hon. Late Shri Hargovindas Bhavanbhai Kotak. The opening ceremony of Science school was conducted by the Hon. Mr. B. G. Kher, Premier, Govt. June 1947, on Monday of Bombay, 23rd. By 1947 to 1967 faculty was affiliated to Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. 1967 college is connected with Saurashtra University, Rajkot. Modern society's development can be attributed to the impact of technology and science. The college aims to prepare employees that are impressive , eager researchers, younger scientists and citizens that are disciplined together with value-oriented human beings. H. & H. B.
