manifold end, as described in various posts i have seen. i do have some questions before starting this job though: 1. is anyone out there still selling the plates, to save me having to make one myself? 2. some posts refer to the need for a small hole in the plate, to prevent warning lights being activated. is this necessary for my model? wont the small hole just allow a smaller amount of na*ty gas into the cooling the 1kz-te motor: evenin all. as many of you will know, i use my 1998 kzj95 uk-spec colorado for towing a double horse trailer. when i bought it, i expected the 3.0 litre 1kz-te turbo diesel to be well up to the job of pulling around two tons with four or five occupants plus equipment. the reality has been different and i have suffered constant coolant loss when towing – when the reservoir overflows – and also suffered a cracked cylinder head in 2010. i should say that i don’t at last - i have found the problem with my transmission. well i think i will be able to sleep again. as some of you may know i have been plagued with a noise in my transmission that has proven almost impossible to trace. it all started with a standard manual gs 24v manual running standard diffs. almost in one go, i swapped the diffs for ones from my auto that had only done 79,000 miles (silver phoenix) which werent needed as i put in 4.56s to cope with the 37s. so these diffs had done nothing. i put on 35s. i also put in a new brakes wtf! help please. after fitting rebuilt calipers , new discs all round and handbrake shoes i finally got to take it for a run. when i got home or at least into the lane behind my house (locking my other truck in) she stopped dead. ok me thinks i half expected this from the handbrake. long story short it was the front pas*enger caliper ? the genuine mrt pads were glued to the disc. i need this fixed now but all i can do is put the pads back in which lends no confidence. i would appreciate any.. stops in le mans and pau in france. we left pau this morning and picked up road book route over pyrenees at st jean pied de port. the
