Blacktop approached us looking to build a brand that speaks to the next generation of athlete; the millenial truly invested in their health and fitness, who recognizes that a better quality sports drink will result in a better quality workout. The tone and overall focus of the Blacktop brand goes beyond the beverage, to capture and represent an aspirational lifestyle. The condensed, slender type treatment and overall clean design stands out amongst competitors in the “sports drink” category, and helps to convey a lighter, more premium product.

Crepe Escape

Crepe Escape is a speciality dessert creperie in the Hudson Valley that came to us looking to create an eye-catching brand that would stand out at festivals and events. With lots of fun (and delicious) combinations, the illustrations emphasize the playful nature of their business and showcase their unique process, including use of the giant “choco-kebab,” that sets Crepe Escape apart from competitors.

We created a modular brand identity for Cocozza, a NYC based construction and consultancy group specializing in the restaurant & retail space. Their clean and versatile logomark utilizes the outline of a nail in a refreshing and unique way to form a “C.”

Besa Mi Vino | Macaroni Creative

Besa is an organic canned wine from Southern California. Perfect for on-the-go, but packed with natural, healthy ingredients, they needed an identity and packaging system to reflect the premium product with an approachable tone. They contacted us looking to build a brand that speaks to millenials who are invested in their health, but still want to have a good time. We created a warm, pastel color palette and logo type to project their positive, in-the-moment attitude. The negative space on the can creates an arrow, representing their tagline Be Present and the logo mark was inspired by the translation of besa, meaning kiss.
