I'm currently painting up the Blackstone Fortress set from GW. Here are the 14 Traitor Guardsmen from the box. Great set of figures. Excellent poses and lots of character. The whole set is good. Just completed the Stormsire's Cursebreakers warband for Nightvault. Actually, these are the first Stormiest figures I've ever completed Nice figures, as expected from the Underworlds series. Lots of great animation (particularly cloth animation) in these sculpts. I've started into Blackstone Fortress as well. First figure off the painting table is UR-025. This is essentially Iron Man in the 40K universe...or maybe Cylons! I started playing Shadespire again. The new Nightvault edition of Warhammer Underworlds has invigorated the game environment. I looked through the available warbands, and decided to put together a Fiends deck.  I was able to as*emble and paint the Fiends miniatures very quickly (two hobby days total). Who doesn't love a project that only requires The warband plays very straightforward, and it's super-offensive-oriented. I like the play style, so I'm going to work I haven't posted for a while. I've been slogging away on a couple of large projects...all having to do with Kill Team terrain. First off, I wanted to paint a Kill Team board. I started with this section of the Realms of Battle board. It's 2' x 2'...and it took forever to paint. I've also spent the last couple of months working on this Basilicanum terrain piece, on and off. Very happy to finally call it done. It actually is a cool model, and I'm happy to add it to the collection. I experimented with some marble painting effects for the interior floor panels. Not perfect, but it gives me a direction to work in for I also painted this small ruins piece from the Kill Team boxed set. The Death Watch Kill Team expansion came with some alien trees, which were pretty fun to paint up as well. I feel like I'm finally getting to a place where I can play some Kill Team with some nice painted terrain.
